Fox News host Megyn Kelly, who has questioned Republican frontrunner Donald Trump on his history of sexist remarks, has commented on an incident involving Trump supporters in Georgia.
NBC News correspondent Katy Tur, who covered the Atlanta rally, said Trump’s onstage attacks on the media led directly to personal attacks on journalists who were covering the speech.
“Trump trashes press. Crowd jeers,” Tur said on Twitter. “Guy by press ‘pen’ looks at us and screams ‘you’re a bitch!’ Other gentleman gives cameras a double bird.”
On Twitter Sunday, Kelly responded:
Enough. Seriously. https://t.co/PT13rqR0pp

While Kelly has repeatedly declined to engage with Trump when he has focused attacks on her, she has stepped in to defend other journalists, including CNN’s Sara Murray, who Trump called “absolutely terrible” last November.
