Chris Matthews lives for days like this. The Hardballer has been hosting Connecticut primary updates from WVIT-TV in New Haven on MSNBC today. His noon update included a brief interview with Joe Lieberman at a polling place. He has also handled interviews with the campaign managers for both Lieberman and Ned Lamont, in the wake of the Lieberman Web site hack.
In between live hits, Matthews is blogging on MSNBC.com. “Connecticut gets to do something Tuesday that the rest of us can’t: vote on the Iraq War,” he says.
After live editions of Hardball at 5 and 7pm, Matthews will host a Netcast on MSNBC.com as the results come in. And finally, he is hosting a special Hardball update live at 1am ET…
