Mara Schiavocampo, hired as NBC Nightly News’ first Digital Correspondent, has been promoted to correspondent for all NBC News broadcasts. Schiavocampo, who included mediabistro.com instructor on her resume, was hired by NBC News in Oct. 2007 to report for nightly.msnbc.com. Over the years she’s reported from Jordan, Indonesia and Haiti. A few weeks ago she had a memorable interview with Michael Vick in which he admitted he’d like to have another dog some day.
