Out Magazine has published its seventh annual “50 Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America” list. Apple CEO Tim Cook tops the list for the second year running, but television news is well-represented in the top five, with syndicated talk show host Ellen DeGeneres at #2, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow at #4 and CNN anchor Anderson Cooper at #5.
Maddow and Cooper both move up a spot from last year’s list. CNBC’s Suze Orman and Bravo’s Andy Cohenare also on the list for the second year running, at #28 and #14 respectively.
