Longtime NBC News Correspondent Irving R. Levine Dies

Irving R. Levine, the longtime economics correspondent for NBC News died yesterday in Boca Raton, FL.

Levine, who often wore bow ties on his stories, reported for NBC News for 35 years – first as a foreign correspondent then in 1971 becoming NBC’s economics correspondent based in Washington.

After retiring from NBC News in 1995, Levine was named Dean of Lynn University’s School of International Communication in Boca Raton.
