The attacks on London were the “first major breaking news event with free video available on CNN.com,” and “more than 3.8 million videos were served,” CNN noted.
And Lost Remote reports that “yesterday MSNBC.com experienced about double the pageviews and unique users as readers across the world followed the London bombing story…The site measured four times the normal traffic from the UK with the peak hour between 10-11am ET.”
A Fox News spokesperson did not reply to a request for Web site traffic information.
