> NBC News had continuing coverage produced by ‘Today’ beginning at 5:48, according to the network.

> “CBS is providing reliable, quick, free LIVE streaming news,” an e-mailer says. “I don’t see it on ABC, it takes forever to load at MSNBC and it’s impossible to find at CNN — if they offer it.” CBSNews.com aired the London press conference live…

> An e-mailer says: “CNBC was running the story at least as early as 5:02am, and Michelle Caruso-Cabrera was nothing short of SOLID during her stewardship of Wake Up Call’s navigation of the choppy, uncertain breaking news waters. She deserves credit and probably should be doing much more than anchoring an hour of ‘business news’ at 5 in the morning.”

> The BBC is publishing a Reporter’s Log. “There are hordes of press here but it’s difficult to contact the office because the phone networks are down,” a correspondent reported from Edgware Road…

> ABC aired its first special report at 5:37am, the network tells TVNewser. Numerous special reports followed, and will continue throughout the day as events unfold. World News Tonight will devote its entire newscast to the terrorist attack, and a special hour of PrimeTime Live will air at 10pm….

> Jeff Jarvis blogs: “I’m in an office in New York and cut off from the world of TV news because, apart from the BBC — which is, of course, getting hammered right now — none of the big networks streams its news live over the internet; they’re putting up clips that become stale the moment they’re up. Oh, yes, they don’t want to piss off the cable companies. But how about pissing off the public they serve? Get online, people. It ain’t 1990 anymore.”

> “Minutes ago I was awakened with a call to return to the United States immediately,” Greta Van Susteren blogs from Aruba. “Obviously the terrorism in London is the reason. I am not sure where I am headed, what city I can get to in the United States, what flights are available, etc., but we are leaving Aruba (that is all I know at this moment.)”
