Live Blogging: Your Comments

By Chris Ariens

We heard from a lot you last night during our live blogging. Below are just a few comments:

Tom Brokaw‘s challenge(made immediately after Obama’s speech) for everyone to stop the horse race coverage should get a lot of play. Chris Mathews: “So I guess we all just stay home.” And Tom had to actually tell Chris that there was other substance to actually report on. Very sad.

What IS it with CNN breaking THE basic rule of camera work by crossing the axis during their studio coverage from NYC? its AWFUL, and WRONG.

The stuff John King is doing on CNN with that map is way to over-the-top and confusing. (TVNewser disagrees, we like maps. It had the technology of a giant iPhone…on steroids)

How will MSNBC cover the results from the Michigan primary on Jan. 15, when they are airing the Democratic debate from Las Vegas?

And several of you caught our live blog post at 9:51 and questioned what Bill Bennett was saying on CNN: “‘Remember John McCain is 71 years old. He can’t comb his hair.’ What?”

Here is the full transcript from CNN: “John McCain is 71-years-old. He’s got broken bones, he can’t comb his hair. And he said he would out-campaign everybody in New Hampshire. And he did, so let’s give him that moment. It’s quite extraordinary.”
