Former CNN 9 PM host Larry King has lined up his first new gig since leaving the network last month. As we reported, King is allowed to appear on other networks, provided they aren’t in direct competition with CNN.

Now, TV Guide has word that King has booked an appearance on another network. And it is an acting job.

So which network is it, and which show will he be appearing on?

Find out after the jump.

According to TV Guide‘s William Keck, King will be playing himself (natch) on the ABC comedy series “Better With You:”

The episode, shooting the week of January 17 and tentatively scheduled to air in early March, finds Ben (Josh Cooke) running in to Larry, who happens to be a guest at the hotel Ben manages. Lar gives him advice on various matters, including how to pawn off an annoying couple — which turns out to be the parents of Ben’s longtime girlfriend, Maddie (Jennifer Finnigan): Vicky (Debra Jo Rupp) and Joel (Kurt Fuller). Oh, that Larry!
