Larry King’s Doctors Expect Him to Make ‘a Full Recovery’ Despite a Health Scare Last Week

Television legend Larry King experienced a health scare this past Thursday and underwent a heart procedure. The 85-year-old King was set to have a scheduled angioplasty Thursday when he began experiencing “angina and went to the hospital early to be examined.”

According to Ora TV, the network part-owned by King and home to his to show Polticking, the TV newser is OK and “his doctors expect him to make a full recovery.”

The network released the following statement in the 3 p.m. ET hour:

King is best known to the masses for spending 25 years at CNN as host of Larry King Live, the network’s top-rated show which ran from 1985-2010.

He celebrates 62 years in media this July.
