Corke_12.4Former NBC News White House correspondent Kevin Corke is returning to the beat and joining Fox News Channel as a Washington DC correspondent, TVNewser confirms.

Corke last covered the White House six years ago, departing NBC in Dec. 2008. Ten months later he rejoined NBC and was named news anchor for Miami station WTVJ, where he remained for two years.

Corke’s joining FNC, which was first reported by FTVLive, comes as the network bids farewell to two longtime Washington, D.C. correspondents. Last week, Wendell Goler and Jim Angle both announced they were retiring from TV news.
