By A.J. Katz

NBC News/MSNBC anchor Katy Tur and CBS News correspondent Tony Dokoupil are now parents of a baby boy born on Saturday.

Theodore “Teddy” Dokoupil came into the world at 6 pounds, 5 ounces.

“He stretches nearly 20 inches,” her good friend and MSNBC colleague Kasie Hunt said on-air this afternoon. “Mom, dad and tiny Teddy are all doing great.”

Dokoupil and Tur married in October 2017. Dokoupil has two other kids from a previous marriage.

Chuck Todd gave an on-air shout-out to the fam during the 5 p.m. hour:

The prior Saturday, fellow NBC Newser Morning Joe First Look anchor Ayman Mohyeldin and his wife Kenza Fourati welcomed a son, Idris Mohyeldin, born on April 6 at 6:54 a.m. weighing 6 pounds, 11 ounces.

Mom and baby are doing great, and older sister Dora is already helping with the feedings and changes.

Congrats to the happy families.
