Katrina: All The Networks Add Security In New Orleans

All of the broadcast networks have beefed up their security in New Orleans. (NBC was the first to confirm it on Wednesday.)

An ABC News crew was turned back by gunfire on Thursday as they tried to reach a New Orleans hospital today. “Correspondent Bob Woodruff and crew had tried to reach Charity Hospital to do a story about increasingly desperate conditions there when the incident occurred,” The Hollywood Reporter says.

CBS and CNN have sent security; FNC has “taken measures to protect its crews.”
