It’s road trip time for Katie Couric. The new anchor of the CBS Evening News is embarking on the six-city swing this summer “to talk to people in the community about what issues are of interest to them and what they would like to see reported both locally and nationally,” according to this press release from KCNC-TV. Denver is one of the (carefully-chosen) cities Couric is coming to; where are her other five stops scheduled?
In the release, KCNC GM Walt DeHaven says Katie “intends to meet a diverse cross section of the community in an informal forum so that she can really get to the heart of the community.” Locals will have to apply to be a participant in Denver’s forum…
