The past week was an important one for “Today” in many ways: there was a big party in celebration of the show’s 60th anniversary. There was an on-air reunion of current and past anchors. And Kathie Lee Gifford revealed that she is an an extremely talented hula hooper.
So talented, in fact, that she hula hooped, uninterrupted, through an entire segment and into the beginning of the next one, which was (intended to be) a spotlight piece on sleep products with style editor Bobbie Thomas. Unable to stop Gifford, Thomas finally just gave up and told viewers, “everything’s online.” Watch:
