Kaplan To CBS: We “Needed To Make More Progress Faster & This Was The Best Way To Do It,” McManus Says

Rick Kaplan can bring consistency to the CBS Evening News, Sean McManus said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times today.

Quoting McManus: “The show is making very good progress. I just felt that we probably needed to make more progress faster and this was the best way to do it. It’s not a reflection on the job Rome has done.”
