Daryn Kagan thinks it’s really important to be informed. “I just also think it’s important to be inspired,” she tells the Los Angeles Times in a “Sunday conversation.”
Kagan said she has become a more spiritual person in the last few years. Matea Gold asked if media organizations are “missing an opportunity to tell these stories,” and Kagan responded: “It’s not for me to say. I think there’s a lot of news corporations making a lot of money, and they’re doing just fine. It just presents an opportunity for other people out there to present stories in a different light.”
