Jeanine Pirro’s Show Has Been Bumped for a Second Consecutive Saturday

By A.J. Katz

It appears there might be something to those Jeanine Pirro “suspension” rumors  from earlier in the week because her Fox News prime-time show, Justice With Judge Jeanine has been bumped for a second straight week.

According to the full program schedule located on FoxNews.com, Scandalous: The Trial of William Kennedy Smith will air this coming Saturday, March 23 at 9 p.m., not Justice.

Last Saturday, when reports surfaced that Pirro’s show would be bumped that evening, a Fox News spokesperson told TVNewser, “We are not commenting on internal scheduling matters.” The network has stood by that statement throughout the week.

It remains to be seen when Justice With Judge Jeanine will return to Fox News, although some have speculated it could be the 30th.

The reason for Pirro’s show being bumped for back-to-back weeks likely stems from the host claiming on the March 9 edition of her No. 1 Saturday night opinion show that Minnesota freshman congresswoman Ilhan Omar is “sharia compliant” and disloyal to the U.S. Constitution because she wears a hijab.

The remarks made by the former judge and Westchester County District Attorney-turned conservative firebrand TV host elicited a strong rebuke from Fox News management. The network also stated at the time that it had “addressed the matter directly” with Pirro, who hasn’t tweeted since March 10, the morning after she made the remarks, and before controversy truly erupted.

If last weekend’s tweetstorm is any indication, our commander-in-chief may not be a happy man once he hears that Pirro’s show has been bumped yet again.
