“Geraldo At Large continues to kick butt and take names in New York, where it’s steamrolling over the CBS Evening News in several key demos in head-to-head competition.

Last Thursday, for example, GAL averaged 98,000 viewers in the adults 25-54 demo, compared to 26,000 in that demo for the CBS Evening News (anchor Katie Couric was off last week). Among adults 18-49, GAL averaged 100,000 viewers — compared top 20,000 for the CBS broadcast. Geraldo Rivera hosts (6:30 p.m./Ch. 5).”
