TVNewser broke the news on Friday: MSNBC’s last weekend “with Maury & Connie” is just a few days away. “According to an MSNBC insider, the network wasn’t happy with ratings,” Gail Shister says, but “according to Chung, the deal with her and hub was always 26 weeks and out.”
Connie says: “We kept telling them from the beginning that we should say this is a 26-week deal. We’ve been very open about it… We really enjoyed doing the show. If we ever get another opportunity, we’d probably do it again.”
