Radio host Hugh Hewitt, who will ask questions at CNN’s upcoming Republican presidential debate in September, predicts the Jake Tapper-moderated event will be even bigger than Fox News’ GOP debate August 6–the most-watched cable news event ever, with 24 million viewers.

“I think when we do the debate on September 16…that our audience is going to be bigger than the first debate,” Hewitt told CNN’s Don Lemon. “I think the audience is going to be huge.”

Hewitt said people want energy, and “that’s what Donald Trump has unleashed here.”
