Three cable networks changed up their Sunday morning schedules to carry the closing arguments in the murder case against Casey Anthony. HLN, which has been in gavel-to-gavel coverage since the start, along with Fox News and MSNBC, are in the midst of coverage.

The prosecution began its closing argument around 9:15amET and concluded around 10:35am — 77 minutes of the four hours they are allotted. The jury was given a 15-minute recess — which stretched to 40 minutes for an issue related to the defense closing argument. Defense attorney Jose Baez then began his closing just after 11:15am. The prosecution will have a chance for rebuttal this afternoon, which could change up the afternoon schedules on the cablers. CNN remained with its regular Sunday morning programming.

> Monday, July 4 Update: The prosecution rebuttal began this morning just after 8:30amET carried live on HLN, MSNBC and Fox News. A 20 minute break was called around 9:40am with the prosecution expected to return at 10am. Deliberations could begin today around NoonET.

> At 10:44am, as the prosecution played a jailhouse call Casey made to her mother, Casey used the word “fucking” five times, which went out over the air. FNC anchor Gregg Jarrett jumped in to “apologize” to viewers as the network put the testimony on a 7-second delay.
