Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI) told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes yesterday that President Trump changed his mind about the government shutdown because of “right-wing loud people yelling at him on Fox News.”
The outspoken senator didn’t hold back her feelings on television, saying, telling the All In host, “any effort on his part to blame the Democrats will be such bullshit that as I said before I would hardly be able to stand it.”
MSNBC didn’t bleep out the curse.

This isn’t the first time a senator has dropped “bullshit” during an interview on live TV in recent months. The Democratic Senator from New Jersey Bob Menendez did something similar during the Kavanaugh hearings back in October, telling reporters that the FBI report on the then-Supreme Court nominee was “bullshit.”
The Democrats have been especially furious with the actions of the President and the Republican-controlled congress as of late, and haven’t been afraid to express their anger on live television. We’ll see if more congressmen and women continue to go the route of swearing in front of the cameras going forward.
