Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper

By SteveK

Anderson Cooper popped up in a couple locations today, ahead of his usual primary night appearance tonight in the Election Center on CNN.

Broadcasting & Cable posts a video interview Cooper from The Cable Show down in New Orleans. Cooper discussed what it was like being back in New Orleans after he covered the area after Hurricane Katrina, among other issues.

One was the future of Anderson Cooper 360 post-election. “I think we’re going strong,” he said. “Obviously this election is fascinating, and the interest is going to continue through the general election, but it has meant to us not being able to do a lot of other stories, a lot of trips we had planned.”

Anderson also appeared this morning on The View, where he discussed the primaries tonight in Kentucky and Oregon. He also took some jabs at his cable news competitors, MSNBC.

Co-host Joy Behar asked Cooper about the “misogynistic remarks made on MSNBC,” and Cooper said, “I don’t watch MSNBC.” When Behar said, “Well, I do,” he joked, “Well, serves you right.”
