Greta’s Success Shouldn’t Be Surprising

What’s happening at 10pm? Greta Van Susteren scored a big ratings victory last night, averaging a 1.9 rating and 2,051,000 viewers. She scored the highest demo on FNC last night, with 676,000 viewers in 25-54.

Meanwhile, CNN and MSNBC were recycling news: On NewsNight, Paula Zahn subbed for Aaron Brown and narrated a “special” about the Purpose Driven Life book (the one Ashley Smith read to Brian Nichols). The show delivered a 0.7, 800,000 viewers and 219,000 in the demo.
MSNBC ran a taped Headliners & Legends which scored a 0.4 and 340,000 viewers, with 93,000 in the 25-54 demo.
