A rare Sunday night presidential town hall was the most-watched show on cable news this weekend.
Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren hosted GOP front-runner Donald Trump at UW Milwaukee for a one-hour town hall ahead of today’s primary voting in Wisconsin.
The town hall, which was taped at 3 p.m. CT, aired at 8 p.m. ET and averaged 1.75 million total viewers and 338,000 in the A25-54 demo. That made it the most-watched cable news show all weekend and, head-to-head, topped the CNN Original Series Race for the White House. A reair of the Trump town hall at 10 p.m. ET added another 1.08 million and 236,000 in the demo.
