Greta Wants To Go To Darfur

By Brian

I think the most interesting part of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s profile of Greta Van Susteren is the end quote from Bill Shine:

“Last Sunday I’m at home,” he says, “and I get a BlackBerry e-mail from Greta: ‘Can you send me to Darfur?’ That’s how Greta’s mind works. She’s read the paper, something’s struck her as interesting and important to find out about, and now she wants to go do it.”

Maybe she was reading Nicholas Kristof‘s columns punishing Bill O’Reilly for allegedly ignoring the crisis. (In the piece, Gail Evans says “if I were Bill O’Reilly, I’d watch out” for Greta. So… did Shine say yes?
