The SOME (So Others Might Eat) food bank challenged DCNewsers to give during their holiday Washington Feeding Frenzy. “The winner is Fox News by a landslide,” the group said in a press release. FoxNewsers contributed of 3497 pounds of non-perishable food. Second place went to CNN with a total of 1200 pounds, followed by ABC News with 923 pounds then CBS News with 375 lbs. Did NBC News not get the memo? (Actually, they did. They contributed to SOME as well as to their own food drive.)

My colleagues really dug deep into their hearts and deep into their pockets for this good spirited inter-network competition. Of course it was not really about winning (that’s just what we tease about) but it was about helping. My colleagues wanted to and did help.
