Red Eye with Tom Shillue premieres tonight at 3 a.m. ET. It’s technically tomorrow, but we’ll say “tonight” to make things easier. Former Red Eye host Greg Gutfeld offered his Top 5 tips to Shillue, all advice that the new Red Eye host should clearly follow:
1. Make as many inflammatory comments as possible. Usually about race or gender.
2. If a crazy person wants to come on the show, book him or her.

3. Offend other countries and cultures like “you would a sibling.”
4. Skip hair and makeup.
5. Use a lot of inside joke the audience won’t understand.
