ABC programs “Modern Family” and “Good Morning America” have teamed up to find the quintessential modern family, which ABC has described in a statement as being “quirky, funny, unique, and different.” The series begun on Wednesday, when viewers could log onto GMA’s website to tell them in 250 words or less — and can include family photos — why their family would qualify to be the real modern family by January 14, 2011. The top three families will be profiled on GMA until they choose the real modern family.
