If anyone on Good Morning America seems groggy this morning, it may be thanks to Dancing With the Stars. GMA staffers held a watch party Tuesday night to cheer on Ginger Zee and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy in the DWTS finale.
Team Zee included Robin Roberts, Rob Marciano, Mara Schiavocampo, Rebecca Jarvis, Gio Benitez, and executive producer Michael Corn–all wearing “Go Team Zee” t-shirts and willing to stay up well past the usual bedtime associated with a network morning show.
WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD:
While Zee and Chmerkovskiy ultimately took third place, one of the GMA insiders told TVNewser “we couldn’t be more proud of Ginger and all she accomplished this season.”
Zee and the rest of the DWTS finalists traveled overnight and appeared on GMA Wednesday morning for a post-finale “after party.”
