Pres. Obama spoke at Carnegie Mellon University this morning in Pittsburgh. He arrived in the Steel City just after midnight after attending a fundraising event of the Broadway musical Sister Act in New York. Pool reporter Jackie Calmes of The New York Times wrote up the president’s arrival in Pittsburgh early this morning pointing out:
Your pool would like to note what the relatively few men in our party noted, and [Press Secretary Jay] Carney — that it was an all-female pool today, with 7 women making up the reps for wires, print, mag, tv producer and a photog.
