Geraldo: “All The Lampooning Of Me” Has “Brought A Younger Audience To Us”

Geraldo Rivera says “Geraldo at Large” is his “last show.” The show is doing quite well in the 18-49 and 25-54 demos, the NY Post notes. Why? Here’s Geraldo’s theory:

“All the lampooning of me by Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Jay Leno, all the Geraldo jokes have, ironically, brought a younger audience to us.

I’ve been lampooned on ‘Saturday Night Live’ for four decades now. ‘Triumph’ even has a Geraldo bit. But it’s working in ways the purveyors of the comedic hits never imagined. It’s making people aware that we’re on.”
