Last night, Anderson Cooper interviewed a friend of Thomas Eric Duncan, the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the U.S. Louise, who was hosting Duncan in her Dallas apartment when Duncan came over from Liberia, is now quarantined in her home along with three family members after Duncan fell ill three days after arriving.
“I’m just hanging in there depending on God to save our lives,” Louise, who preferred to only provide her first name, told Cooper. “Leave me alone, leave my kids alone,” she continued, referring to people she claims are spreading lies about her and her family. “He slept well last night,” she told Cooper about Duncan, who she’s been speaking to every day.
