Fox News Radio Names Two Directors

I missed this on Monday: “Fox News Radio has promoted Mitch Davis to director of News Programming and has named Mike Elder director of Talk Programming,” Radio Ink reports.

Elder comes from WRKO in Boston, where he directed programming and operations. “Elder will be responsible for the production of Fox News Radio’s syndicated Talk programs The Tony Snow Show and The Alan Colmes Show,” Radio & Records says. Elder will also “identify and develop new talk radio opportunities,” according to a Fox statement quoted by Billboard.

“Davis has been with FNR since its 2003 inception, as Managing Editor. He’s been affiliated with Fox since 1997, when he joined the cable TV network FOX News Channel as a Special Events Producer. Prior to Fox, Davis worked at ABC News for more than 20 years,” R&R adds.
