Fox News Is Most-Watched Basic Cable Network in Total Day for 12 Straight Weeks

By A.J. Katz

Fox News continues to win the weekly cable ratings race in total day. The network extended its winning streak to 12 weeks by winning the week of March 26.

FNC is home to 8 of the 25 most-watched basic cable telecasts from last week, but finished second place in total prime time viewers behind TBS, which aired the NCAA tournament last week, including the Final Four.

Perhaps due to that NCAA tournament coverage, FNC was down year over year in total prime time viewers (-11 percent) and in total day viewers (-10 percent).
