Fox News Exec Wishes Tina Brown Well

“Tina Brown discussing ratings is like Courtney Love dispensing advice on how to stay sober — neither one knows how to achieve it.” Brown’s show scratched 52 times out of 66 episodes during her 15 month run on CNBC — check out this chart.

The executive explained the reasons behind Brown being bitter. “Tina’s hated Rupert ever since he whacked old Harry (from the London Sunday Times),” the executive laughed, “but at this point she’s a gadfly in search of a sunflower. If she actually succeeded at one of her ventures, she wouldn’t need to spend her time obsessing about Fox News and Rupert. That said, her ‘New York Gathering’ pontificating probably just added another 100,000 viewers, so we extend our thanks and wish her well.”
