Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity: ‘Hillary Can Be the Next President’

By Brian Flood

Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity graces the cover of today’s Los Angeles Times Calendar section with Madonna. The interview runs on the day Paul Ryan was elected House speaker, something that might not of occurred if it wasn’t for Hannity’s recent interview with Kevin McCarthy.

Hannity tells the paper that “Hillary can be the next president,” which is something that will probably surprise his conservative fan base. The Times notes that through Oct. 22, Hannity has already conducted 82 interviews with contenders for the Republican nomination but none of the still-standing Democratic candidates have taken him up on invitations to appear on his program.

Hannity also admits he has a “Top 5” when it comes to his preferred GOP candidate. One of those five is Donald Trump and the FNC host admits to wearing the real estate mogul’s tie collection on air. “He’s been sending them to me for years. They are great ties and they look great on TV,” Hannity said before explaining that Trump is “connecting with people on a basic level.”

Hannity also says he avoids reading blogs, but we suggest he checks out TVNewser on occasion. As for how long he plans to host his show, Hannity does not “want to live in New York,” but will stay there until his son graduates high school.
