Fox News Channel is #2 in all of Cable

FNC had a stupendous election week: second in all of cable in primetime averaging 3.509m Total Viewers, compared to their competitors MSNBC (#17 in all of cable with 1.052m Total Viewers) and CNN (#28 in all of cable with 804K Total Viewers). The last time Fox News was second in primetime was the week of May 31, 2010 during the BP oil spill story.

Of the top ten cable programs, Fox News has snagged 5 of the 10 slots, including the number two cable program, “America’s Election HQ.”

As for the Total Day for all of cable,  FNC was third with 1.542m Total Viewers. The last time they were third was the week of March 15, 2010 during the height of health care reform. Last week, MSNBC was #22, averaging 514K Total Viewers and CNN was #26 with 488K Total Viewers.
