Rupert Murdoch is at his home in Los Angeles recovering from an injury suffered over the New Year’s holiday.
The Fox News Channel chairman and 21st Century Fox executive chairman wrote to close associates last Friday telling them he’d suffered a back injury while sailing. Vanity Fair’s Gabe Sherman reports Murdoch was aboard his son Lachlan’s yacht in the Caribbean when he suffered the injury.
Murdoch, 86, has told associates that even as he recovers at home, they’d be hearing from him via email, phone and text.
