Tulsi Gabbard, the former Hawaiian congresswoman, joined Fox News as a paid contributor.
Gabbard, who filled in for Tucker Carlson Monday night, signed a deal with the network Monday.
She had already been making frequent guest appearances on Fox News, appearing on shows like Tucker Carlson Tonight and The Five.

Gabbard used to be a member of the Democratic Party and, in 2020, was a Democratic Presidential candidate. However, she officially quit the party in October, and her continuous criticism of the Biden administration and the Democrats have fueled her appearances on Fox News, particularly in primetime.
Gabbard, who represented Hawaii’s second congressional district from 2013 to 2021, is also a military veteran who had served in Iraq as a member of the Hawaii Army National Guard.
The news of Gabbard joining Fox News was first reported by Stephen Battaglio from the Los Angeles Times.
