Here in Chicago, it’s out with one former network newser and in with another.
In a main anchor shake-up, former CBS News correspondent and Chicago news veteran Bob Sirott has signed with WFLD-TV, Chicago’s Fox station, to be its main 9pm anchor. He replaces anchor Jeff Goldblatt, who joined Fox Chicago less than two years ago from his job as a Fox News Channel correspondent.
Ironically, Sirott comes to WFLD about a year after leaving Chicago NBC station WMAQ-TV — where he was succeeded at the anchor desk by yet a third former network guy, ex-Dateline NBC correspondent Rob Stafford. Got all that?
