Kendis Gibson to Join MSNBC, Anchor MSNBC Live on Weekends

Kendis Gibson is heading to MSNBC, and will anchor MSNBC Live on weekends from 2 -4 p.m. ET, beginning Jan. 19.

Gibson comes to MSNBC from ABC News, where he most recently served as co-anchor of the overnight news broadcast, World News Now, and the early morning broadcast, America This Morning. Gibson took on the co-anchor role in March 2017, before departing the network in December 2018.

Gibson joined ABC News as a correspondent in December 2014 after a stint as weekend anchor and reporter for the ABC affiliate WJLA in Washington. Prior stops include CBS Newspath and HLN.
