FNC’s Legends & Lies Renewed for Second Season

Bill O’Reilly announced tonight on The O’Reilly Factor that FNC’s Legends & Lies series has been renewed for a second season.

Legends & Lies: Patriots will explore the founding fathers of the United States and the stories behind the figures that shaped the country’s early days. Fox News Channel has ordered 12 episodes of Patriots.

The first season of Legends & Lies: The Real West will wrap up on June 14. Three episodes remain:

  • May 31: George Custer
  • June 7: The Real Lone Ranger (Bass Reeves)
  • June 14: Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid

The O’Reilly-executive produced series premiered last month, averaging 1.2 million viewers and 208,000 in the key A25-54 demo in its Sunday prime-time slot. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger is a fan.
