Fox News Strikes Deal with SiriusXM. Fox Business Network Added

By Chris Ariens

A few weeks ago, Roger Ailes teased that a deal was imminent, and now it’s done.

Fox News Channel has come to a new 6-year agreement with SiriusXM radio. As part of the new deal, and for the first time, Fox Business Network will be added to the satellite service. Also, Fox News Talk Radio returns to SiriusXM. It was dropped in January after both sides failed to come to terms on a carriage agreement. Going forward it will be streamed on the SiriusXM Internet Radio Service.

“Our viewers love the ability to keep the connection with Fox News Channel, even while they’re in the car with SiriusXM,” said Ailes, the chairman and CEO of FNC. “This is good for Fox News, for SiriusXM and for the people we both work for, the American public.”
