Margaret Brennan moderated CBS’ Face the Nation this past Sunday…which was her due date.
Well, good things do indeed come to those who wait because Brennan and her husband Yado Yakub welcomed a son named Eamon Brennan Yakub into the world, just two days later.
Eamon was born the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 11th at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C.
As we previously noted, it has been a significant week for the Face the Nation moderator. In addition to being honored by our parent publication Adweek as a “D.C. Brand Star,” and moderating FTN on her Sept. 9 due date, she conducted a news-making interview with VP Pence the day before that broadcast.
Brennan is going on maternity leave, and is scheduled to return to CBS News and Face the Nation in November.
