With Charlie Gibson back from vacation, the evening news race tightened last week between #1 ABC & #2 NBC. And, even while reporting from Iraq and Syria, Katie Couric‘s total viewer numbers were down week-to-week, but The CBS Evening News was up +100,000 in 25-54 demo viewers. (Last Monday, Labor Day, is excluded from the average.)
