ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir wins the evening news ratings race edging NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt by less than 1 percent in total viewership. But Nightly wins another week–84 of the past 85 weeks–in the A25-54 demo with an +11 percent lead.
Compared to the same week last year ABC, which, for the 2015-2016 season, had its best ratings in 9 years, is down -3 percent in viewers and down -9 percent in the demo. NBC is down -5 percent in viewers and down -6 percent in the demo and CBS is down -10 percent in viewers and down -20 percent in the demo.
