Evening News Ratings: Week of Feb. 6

The NBC Nightly News beat ABC’s World News Tonight by 7 percent and the CBS Evening News by 23 percent last week, but ABC beat NBC in the 25-54 demo. Here are the weekday numbers:

Total viewers: NBC: 9,840,000 / ABC: 9,180,000 / CBS: 7,978,000

25-54 demo: NBC: 2.6 / ABC: 2.7 / CBS: 2.1

> Update: 3:12pm: CBS says: “For the week of Feb. 6, the CBS EVENING NEWS increased its total viewers by +460,000 viewers (7.98 million from 7.52 million) and its household delivery by +6% (5.6/11 from 5.3/10), while NBC and ABC decreased in total viewers and households compared to the same period last year. “Nightly News” lost -370,000 viewers (9.84 million from 10.21 million) and decreased -3% in households (6.9/13 from 7.1/13). “World News Tonight” plunged -970,000 viewers (9.18 million from 10.15 million) and decreased -10% in households (6.4/12 from 7.1/13).”
