NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt won the holiday-shortened Thanksgiving week in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo. Nightly News, which is based on a 3-day average, had a +4 percent lead on ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir, which won the November sweep and continues to lead for the 2016-2017 season. ABC and CBS were both based on just 2 days last week: Monday and Tuesday. Nightly, which included Friday in its average, saw a massive 10.6 million Black Friday edition of the broadcast.

NBC’s lead in the all-important demo stood at +14 percent over ABC last week. Both NBC and ABC were down vs. Thanksgiving week last year. CBS saw the least amount of viewer erosion: flat in total viewers and down just -1 percent in the demo.
